This is how I changed the deck after first testing it, but it's by no means the only one you could build. The main problem with your original deck was that it was cluttered, with too many cards, too many redundant cards, and too many monsters that needed sacrifices. I've kept the Sphinxes because they can be handy, even as ordinary 2-Tributers, although I've included a couple of Reloads in case you need to change your hand. Most of the other cards are either Dragon support or basic cards that should go in any deck, most of which are fairly easy to get and experienced players might even just give you their spare copies. Feel free to mix and match them however you wish.
The Fusions are optional, and also rather rare. If you're not going to run them, you should remove Polymerization, as it's unnecessary. Or if you happen to get 3 Five-Headed Dragons, get a Fusion Gate (which remains on the field and can be used repeatedly). I substituted Premature Burial and Raigeki for Call of the Haunted and Lightning Vortex, purely because the former are banned in tournaments and thus nobody would play me with them. This deck's nowhere near tournament level yet, so if you're just playing with your mates then you don't need to change those cards. If you are wanting to take it to tournaments, then I advise you check out yugioh.wikia.com , as it's got all the inofmration you need to make your deck better.
P.S. I'd give your current deck about a 10, and the new one at least 50.
