How do I make a privacy screen or room divider?
I would like to make a privacy screen or room divider to hide the ugly furnace in my basement. Shoestring budget... Any ideas?
If your furnace is in an alcove, you could put up a tension rod and hang a pretty sheet from it. If you have an unfinished ceiling in the basement, you could use tacks and hang the sheet from it draping the sheet in between the tacks. *v*v*v* something like that. If you could get a piece of metal that you can flex, and that is sturdy, bend it to go around the furnace, hang it from the ceiling and put a shower curtain or sheet up to hide it. All kinds of things you can do once you have a few ideas. Good luck
