How to build a door alarm?
I bought a buzzer, switch, battery holder, and a "Sliding door/window disconnect contact". Im having trouble putting it all together. (when the door opens i want the buzzer to go off). Do i need anything else? How do i connect it?
one wire from the battery holder goes to the buzzer.The other wire goes to the switch plug1 then from switch plug2 you go to one side of the window contact. Then from the other window contact it goes to the buzzer plug2.When the switch is closed it allows the power to flow to the slider switch when the door opens and the slider switch touches the othe side of the slider switch power flow through it to the buzzer Hope this helps!
