How much money would you pay for this?
I'm trying to earn enough money to go on this trip to Washington D.C. and New York and I was thinking about selling flower pens. They're basically pens with silk flowers glued to the top with green tape wrapped all the way down the pen to make the stem. You've probably seen them before and they're really cool if you get bright colors. How much would you pay for one of these?
Perhaps $2 each. I know exactly what you're talking about; I've been given some. The maker of my pens painted an inexpensive clay pot, filled it with dried beans and "planted" the pens in the beans. Looks so pretty to display them and keeps then from getting trashed in my kitchen desk drawer or lost (I return them to their home). The trick is finding the right place to sell them. Flea market? Craft show? If you bundled a painted pot with 3 pens it makes a lovely gift; easily sellable for $10-$15. If the beans in the pot seems too messy you could also use floral foam.
