Holidaying in Dorset gives you access to some of the most stunning coastal areas in the United Kingdom. 4: Bournemouth. Just down the road from Poole and every bit as enjoyable, Bournemouth boasts award winning gardens, a wonderful selection of beaches and more than one pier. You'll find the atmosphere and entertainment in this classic seaside town perfect for all the family, from morning until nightfall.
5: When you invest in holiday homes in the Dorset area, you get to start taking advantage of the "other" other parts of the county - i.e. the bits away from the sea. Take the kids out to Adventure Wonderland and dare them to try the Wild Thing play centre!
6: Bridport. One of the gateways to the Jurassic Coast, Bridport is a colourful, thriving market town with a strong literary and artistic connection. Wander in the markets every Wednesday and Saturday.
