Since the LDS Church teaches that God the Father was once a man....?
who created Him? What are the current LDS teachings on this subject - and where can I find links?

Mormonism has been evolving since the deaths of the 19th century personalities that saw the genesis of the church. Young and Smith both taught that mankind can become a God just like the Father is heaven is a God.. It would look as though this teaching is slowly being changed.. I was taught this a a young man in my Aaronic priesthood classes and later as a young Elder.. It would appear that later "prophets" are steering the church into a position more compatible with the Bible that it has been in even the recent past.. Even men the LDS church claims their "authority" came though are in question.. Young is especially on the chopping block. He said that every sermon he gave (after he had time to correct it) could be used as scripture equal to and with the same authority as the Book of Mormon , or the Bible.. I guess he was wrong..
So how can anyone of the LDS people today know that what they hold as doctrine won't change in the future? Why the changes anyway? Isn't God and His ways unchangeable? Didn't he say I am the Lord I change not? So why does "His" church change even the final estate of the righteous? What is exhalation if it isn't becoming a God like the father is a God? IHS jim
