How to hang up a mirror without using double sided tape?
I used double sided tape last year in my dorm and it ripped part of the paint and wall off and I had to pay for the damage. I am not sure if the hooks that don't use nails will hold it and I am not quite sure how to hang it up with those hooks since there is no wire in the back. I am
hoping to have minimal damage to the walls in my apartment.
The least damaging way is with plastic mirror-hanging clips, which you can buy anywhere. You will end up with four small holes which you can easily patch when you move out. Depending on the substance of your wall, you will likely need drywall anchors for your screws. Ask for those at the hardware store and they'll show you. Then, you put your bottom two clips up (level, pointing up), set your mirror on them, and have a friend hold it in place while you put in the top ones. And there you go.
