How to paint a Madhubani painting in a 'proper' way?
I'm interested in Madhubani art (Mithila art) and I want to make those paintings but I have done using acrylics on paper so far. Right now I am making a new painting oil on canvas. How do I learn to do it in a proper authentic way (not with cow dung on the walls with bamboo stick), where they use silk instead of paper. Which color silk/fabric do I buy and what color and which paint?

First off I like your painting very much, but. Instead of paint you should try ink dye on silk. On white silk they also sell very colorful inks that are made for silk . Just do a google search for it. " Ink dyes for silk "
