What would you want personalized?

I have recently found this website...www.byvictoria.org. It is a website run by a girl who draws portraits of people and sells them. She is amazing at it(you should look at them).

Anyway, I thought that was an awesome way to make some extra money. And I want to do something like that. I'm very artsy/creative and love to make things. I figured I should try to make people things(to their request) and sell it to them.

This is where you come in, I don't know what people would want me to make for them. So I was wondering, what are some things you would want personalized(like the pictures from the website posted)? They must be things I can make, not like some wood carving haha. I'm a 15 year old girl..if that helps any.

There are websites that can make very realistic "sketches" for free (and half decent watercolours and oil paintings that, on canvas-effect paper, fool most people).

The trouble with your idea is that there are many companies that personalise almost anything and cheaply, too, because they work with large quantities and fast machinery.

If you're going to be applying images to things you have to find a source of cheap things and find the best methods to apply images to them.
Take a look at what papers are available for image transfer onto objects (it may help you decide on a direction to take).

One way forward is to get a niche market...like a local school or college and make souvenir or celebration stuff for them.

Get a sheet of that tattoo paper, for example, print eight small tattoos in the team colours with the team logo and a message, cut it into eight and sell each at a price to make a profit. You are perfectly placed to get the right message, at the right time.
Check with the school/college regarding copyright, they might want their cut......
