I'm looking to pick up some new EDTs, and I want to order some of the samplers off of Amazon. As it turns out, there's A LOT. I don't want to buy them all, so I want to narrow it down, but when I try to look up reviews online, every single scent is reviewed positively. That doesn't help me at all!
Where can I find reviews that are honest about the fragrances, and will help me know which ones to avoid?
If you have a sephora near you they can make you samples of the perfumes they carry. I know that doesn't quite answer your question...there are reviews on their website too for each fragrance.
The problem with reviews for fragrances is that you typically don't just buy one without knowing what it smells like. So nearly all of them will be positive because people bought them knowing they like them.
Also figure out if you like musky smells, earthy smells, floral or fruity. Sephora has their fragrances on their website seperated into categories to help you. 
I like to look at the different ones online, make a little list of which ones I want to smell and go to the store, smell them and of them pick the ones I like and get samples. Then I can test them out with my body chemistry and see how much I really like them.
