Are snowboards from stores like Dick's and the Sports Authority good and reliable?
I just recently got the Burton Verdict from Dick's sporting goods as a gift but I'm not sure if this is a crappy board or not. I got it for like $250 when the origional sticker said it was like $365. I just don't know if i should take it back and go to a realy snowboard shop or something.
dude stay with the stick you have, i ride a morrow press that i picked up for 200 and its the best ride i have ever had. generally anything with a wood core is going to be fine. the small shops are going to be 50-100 $$ more because they don't have the buying power of the big boys. I ride the mountains of utah at least twice a week. I consider myself to be an expert rider and have never had any trouble with my board boots or bindings all of which a purchased at sports authority.
