How many rolls of wallpaper will I need?
for a room measuring: Length 22ft x Width 12ft Height 7ft 10'' Assuming rolls are 33inhes. (UK) Thanks.
It depends on the angles in the room and the pattern on the paper. Get a roll of any paper and mark the walls with the widths where you need them. And work out things like will you centre a piece on a chimney breast or have two pieces either side of the centre line, will you be able to use bits at the the end of the roll above doors, under windows etc.
Mark the walls, count the full drops and work out the pieces. You would probably get 3 full drops to a roll, unless you have a picture rail and then you may get four.
You ought to mark the walls before you hang the paper anyway, so you may as well do it before you buy it. Remember to check the batch numbers are the same on each roll.
