I have floor to ceiling windows with transoms. ?
I am thinking about putting drapes on them they already have 2 inch white wooden blinds on the windows. I have black wrought iron rods (pottery barn style) would I put the rod above the transom) or between the transom and the window. This is in our family room. THANKS.
The transoms do not open, they are decorative
Because your transom is decorative you should consider leaving it uncovered. In my own home, we wanted to hide our transom, because it is old and cracked, so we went all the way to the ceiling and hid it.
