Where is the best play to buy vinyl lettering? Many people know someone who sells/creates vinyl words and designs and naturally go to them for this. But what about those people who cannot do this because they don't already know someone?
Well, the answer is simple--go to the internet. There are several very large sites that specialize in online orders. Doing a simple search for wall words or vinyl lettering will take you directly to those sites which I"m talking about. In addition, you always have amazon or eBay, or even some of the smaller sites online that you can choose from and find the best option for you.
Which option you choose will depend greatly on what you need. The first question you should ask yourself is whether or not you are going to want a custom ordered quote, saying, or design. If that is the case, then you will need to avoid a place like amazon, and probably eBay as well. Amazon and eBay are great for those quotes and sayings that everyone loves (like 'Live Laugh Love'), but if you want to create your own saying then you probably want to go to some of the sites you find when you search online. eBay may still be an option, but make sure that person selling the item is willing to create something custom for you before you click 'buy it now'.
With the sites you find online, there are a few things you want to make sure of before you place your order. First, make sure they can do what you want. If you want something in a specific font, make sure they can cut the vinyl in that exact font, not just something similar. Do the same with the color you are wanting. Also, find out what kind of vinyl they use. Depending on what you want to use the vinyl for, you may need a different kind of vinyl, and some stores may not have it. The most common example of this is for someone wanting to put vinyl on their boat--you do not want to use just normal vinyl for a project like that.
Overall, I believe you will be very happy with your purchase as long as you make sure you communicate exactly what you want and verify that the store understands that beforehand.
